Early Signs of Kidney Stones that Shouldn't be Ignored


A kidney Stone is a condition where a stone is formed inside kidney and then it goes out through the urine flow if the size of the stone is small. But if the stones formed are bigger then it causes pain as it touches the walls of the urinary tract or will cause bleeding inside.

Preventing kidney stone means preventing stone formation, the food items such as spinach, chocolate, tea, nuts etc have some contents which can cause stone formation so reduce their consumption. Drink lot of water and most important factor never hold your urine for a long time.
The pain is the common factor that occurs in kidney stone which occurs in the lower abdomen and back. This pain is said to be one of severe pains, as a matter stones can cause internal bleeding. The other symptoms include restlessness, sweating, vomiting and frequent urinary urgency.
The diagnosis of kidney stone is done through several methods they include CT scan, ultrasound scan, intravenous pyelography etc. Clinical diagnosis is usually made on the basis of the location and severity of the pain.
Kidney stones differ in size as we said in the case of smaller stones treatments include medicines for pain control and also medicines to provide the passage through urine. For the bigger stones, the doctors can recommend a procedure known as extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL). It produces vibrations inside the area where the stone is and breaks stones into smaller particles.
According to some studies about half of the people who had kidney stone reappeared within 10 years. So there is still a possibility and always stick with preventive measures.
